Fees

Monday to Saturday.  Following Australian Government directions, doctors' fees will vary from medical provider to medical provider. The full fee in this clinic for a standard consultation will range from $77.00 to $82.00 with the Medicare rebate - $41.40.                                                 Long consultation fee - $117.00, rebate $80.10                           Prolonged consultation - $147.00, rebate $118.00.   Healthcare card holders will be charged reduced fees.  The contracting doctors  determine their own billings and fee structure.  As a Clinic we have no input into individual doctors charges.

Monday to Friday 8.00am to 7pm. Saturday 8.30am-11.30am

Closed: Sundays and Public Holidays

In case of urgent results patients are contacted immediately

Updating Your Records

Please update any changes to your personal information - telephone, mobile, address and next of kin/emergency contact.

After Hours Services

After hours, you can call the Home Doctor Service Ph 13 SICK (13 7425) and a Doctor will be sent to your home.  This Bulk Billed service is available weekdays after 6.00 pm, all weekends and public holidays.

Please make an appointment to see your Doctor for any Referrals.

The Cove Family Medical Centre's Privacy Policy is available for collection from our Reception.

Telephone Communication

A Doctor will always be available during normal surgery hours for Emergency advice.  You can also call and leave a message with our Receptionists and your Doctor will return your call as soon as possible.  Our Nurse may also be available for any queries you may have.

Patients' Recalls

Once your Doctor has checked any incoming results or correspondence, our Nurse will contact you to make an appointment to follow up if necessary.

Medicare Refund

With our state of the art computer system, we are please to advise that we are able to process your Medicare rebate on the spot.  Please bring your Eftpos/Savings card with you to ensure your immediate refund.

If you pay by credit card the refund cannot be returned to the credit card.
